Embrace are to replace Jet at this weekend's V Festival. As previously reported, Jet had to cancel their festival appearance at the last minute following a family death and initially no replacement was sought. However NME reports that Embrace will now fill their slot.
Embrace band member Danny McNamara said: "It was a bit of a shock to get the call but I can't wait! I'm just going to go on there and enjoy it. There's no pressure, we're like the underdogs in the Cup Final!"
