More revamping in the digital music space, and independent download website eMusic are reportedly planning what Digital Music News call a "serious overhaul" which will see the launch of interactive reviews, informational widgets and smarter navigation. New features should appear as early as next week.
eMusic's David Packman told the website: "We asked what a retailer online would look like in 2010 or 2011. The answer is a lot different than today. We're out to be out-innovating other retailers in the space".
Despite the revamp eMusic's business model - where you pay a monthly subscription from which you can download a set number of tracks, ie a mix of the Napster style subscription and iTunes style a-la-carte models - will stay the same.
