Ennio Morricone new compilation

A new double-disc, 30-track Ennio Morricone compilation, 'Crime And Dissonance', features overlooked experimental work from the early 1970s.

Hurrah. There's going to be a brand new double disc compilation of Ennio Morricone music, and that can only be a good thing, because the man is a genius. The new 30 track set is called 'Crime And Dissonance' and primarily features some of the composer's overlooked experimental work from the early 1970's. Morricone, who is famous for his Sergio Leone scores, hasn't been involved with the production of the CD but continues to compose and occasionally perform.
