Is it Christmas already? Well, no. But it will be soon. Perhaps sooner than you think, because the CMU Social on 9 Dec will be our Christmas party. That alone should be exciting enough, but we've lined up a very special headliner to play for us, too. Former member of CMU Favourites The Pipettes, Rose Elinor Dougall will be joining us to show off some of her rather fine new solo material, including her fantastic debut single, 'Another Version Of Pop Song', which is due for release on 8 Dec, the day before the show. We're very excited.
But, oh my God, we've got another extremely exciting CMU Social happening this very week. Tomorrow, in fact. Playing tomorrow we have the fabulous Tim Ten Yen, who will be playing us songs from his debut album 'Everything Beautiful Reminds Me Of You', and the super-good Matt Finucane, who will be showcasing tracks from his first steps into the world of the solo artist, the 'Episodes EP'.
If you're yet to add yourself to the free guestlist (maybe you were about to do it but then your desk caught fire and it slipped your mind momentarily), all you have to do is email [email protected] and we'll see you down at 229 on Great Portland Street from 7pm - come down early to take advantage of the happy hour at the bar and to fill out the pop quiz.
