After his previous haul was washed away by the New Orleans' floods, the legend that is Fats Domino will receive a new presentation of gold/platinum disc awards from EMI records, it has been confirmed. More than 20 were destroyed during the hurricane along with a host of Fats other possessions. The reissued awards may be joining some new ones soon, given that the 'Blueberry Hill' hitmaker has both a new compilation of his biggest songs out soon, plus a tribute album that is set to include Paul McCartney, Neil Young and Elton John.
