Former GCap chief David Mansfield has been appointed as the main board director of the previously reported media investment firm Ingenious Media. Mansfield, who parted company with GCap after former GWR execs gained the upper hand in the management of the radio company post Capital GWR merger, has been on Ingenious' advisory board for a few months now, but the executive role is new.
Confirming the appointment, Mansfield told reporters: "Ingenious is uniquely placed to benefit as consumers embrace all forms of digital distribution and content. It's a great company and I'm delighted to have an opportunity to join this fast-growing organisation at a time of such rapid change and significant opportunity."
