Fox says no evidence Paula Abdul coached Corey Clark

The Fox Network's independent council has found no evidence that American Idol judge Paula Abdul gave special help to 2003 contestant Corey Clark.

The Fox Network's 'independent council' (whatever that is) has decided that there's no evidence that American Idol judge Paula Abdul gave 2003 contestant Corey Clark special help and coaching. As previously 'the council' was set up in Jul to investigate Clark's claims that he had an affair with Abdul, who privately helped him with his singing and gave him money for expensive clothes. Abdul denied the relationship and whilst she acknowledged that she had spoken privately with Clark over the phone, she said that the talks were not related to her giving him assistance. The council concluded that the pair's stories "differ greatly and no evidence was uncovered to resolve the conflicts in their accounts". Paula Abdul said she is "grateful this ordeal is over".
