Foxy Brown's early release request denied

Prosecutors have objected to Foxy Brown's request for early release from jail to receive ear treatment in LA, arguing she can be treated in New York.

Well, it did seem a somewhat optimistic request. Foxy Brown's request to be let out of jail early so she could get ear treatment in LA has been denied. As previously reported, Brown's lawyers said an existing ear condition was deteriorating, and that the only doctors who could effectively treat it were based in California. But prosecutors objected to the hip hop star's request for early release, arguing she could be treated in New York, where she is currently incarcerated at Riker's Island prison. Brown is in jail after violating her probation that stemmed from that much reported nail salon fracas back in 2004.
