Franz Ferdinand to release one-off single Can't Stop Feeling

Franz Ferdinand are expected to release a brand new single in Nov, ie not one from their eponymous debut album (which is shifting units by the bucketload post-Mercury Music Prize we hear). According to the band's web site the new song, 'Can't Stop Feeling', will be released as an interim single before Christmas. The track was apparently recorded in Malmo, Sweden last year for inclusion on the debut album, but was dropped at the last minute. The track has been remixed by producer Dan The Automator - who FF frontman Alex Kapranos worked with recently when he supplied vocals for a track by Automator's side project Handsome Boy Modeling School.
