Gallagher says no more Babyshambles, thanks

Liam Gallagher says Babyshambles will not be offered another support slot with Oasis, after Pete Doherty failed to appear at a Southampton gig.

Liam Gallagher has said that Babyshambles will not be asked to play support for Oasis again. As previously reported, frontman Pete Doherty failed to show for a recent support slot in Southampton, and The Zutons appeared in their place. Oasis then cancelled other Babyshambles support slot bookings on their UK tour.

According to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Gallagher said: "That's where the relationship ended. What we're not going to do is give him a second chance. It's not a question of professionalism. It's much more simple than that. This is the greatest group in the world and what we're not going to do is let anyone, Pete Doherty, Liam Gallagher or Elvis, f**k it all up."
