Maurice Gibb’s funeral will take place in Miami tomorrow – it will be a private service for family and close friends only. In a statement Allen Kovac from the band’s management company told reporters: "All of us at Kovac Media Group are deeply saddened by Maurice's passing. Our thoughts are with Maurice's family and his many friends and fans who loved him. He was a truly talented artist and a wonderful man full of wit and passion for life. We know that our sorrow is shared by those he touched in the music industry and by millions of music fans across the world."
Those wanting to pay tribute to Maurice were asked to send contributions to the Foundation set up in memory of the other Gibb brother Andy, who had success as a solo artist in the late seventies but died aged 30 in 1988 from heart problems - Andy Gibb Memorial Foundation, c/o Dade Community Foundation, 200 South Biscayne Blvd./Suite 505, Miami, Florida 33131-2343.
Barry and Robin are still questioning the hospital where Maurice died with regard the quality of treatment he received.
