Gig looks for volunteers to help

Organisers of the Love Music Hate Racism gig in Trafalgar Square are seeking volunteers for stewarding, leaflets and merchandise, with a meeting at ULU on 27 April.

More on that Love Music Hate Racism gig which will take place in Trafalgar Square this Sunday (1 May), four days before the rather nasty BNP battle it out in 100 odd constituencies in the general election. As previously reported, Babyshambles,

Estelle, MC Lady Sovereign and Terri Walker are among the artists who will play at the anti-racism gig, united under the banner of "don't vote BNP". Organisers of the event have told us that they are looking for volunteers who are willing to help out - stewarding on the day, handing out leaflets and selling badges and t-shirts. Anyone interested in helping should go to a special meeting at ULU on Malet Street tomorrow night

(27 Apr) at 7.30pm. More details at http://www.lmhr.org.uk
