Global Gathering attendees complain about access delays

Some Global Gathering festival-goers say entry to the Warwickshire site took hours, a claim the organisers strongly deny, while the site was also reportedly boggy and waterlogged.

Apparently some of the Global Gatherers that headed to the legendary dance festival in Warwickshire this weekend were left "angered and frustrated" by the rather long time that it took to get onto the festival site. One Gatherer, Lizzie Allitt, told the BBC that it took her four-and-a-half hours to access the site on Friday evening, though we should stress that's a fact strenuously denied by the event's organisers (and the CMUers at the festival had no problem getting in, perhaps Lizzie is just a very slow driver/walker). The one thing they can agree on, however, is that the Gathering site was extremely boggy and waterlogged in places - though that fact doesn't really constitute news anymore. What festival this year hasn't been boggy and waterlogged?
