Guitarist returns to Pod

Marcos Curiel, POD's co-founder who left four years ago, has rejoined the nu-metal band and appears on their new album When Angels & Serpents Dance.

POD co-founder Marcos Curiel, who left the band four years ago over 'business differences' has rejoined the nu-metal band, and features on the group's new album, 'When Angels & Serpents Dance'.

He told Billboard.com, "I'm excited to be back, and they're definitely excited to have me back".

Explaining that his rekindled friendship with drummer Wuv Bernardo led to the reconciliation, Curiel says: "Next thing I know, he tells me the guitar player who replaced me was bowing out and maybe we should start jamming".

He adds that the reunion felt like "an old shoe. It fits perfect and it just works. It was as if I hadn't even left".
