Hard-Fi speak out against critics

Hard-Fi have hit back at critics of their album cover, which carries the slogan 'No Cover Art', with Richard Archer saying Radiohead would get praise for it.

Hard-fi have hit-out against the critics of their new album 'cover' which, as previously reported, is set to feature the slogan 'No Cover Art' in black on a pure yellow background. Since the idea was released there has been something of a backlash, especially in the media, with critical types criticising what is seen as a half-hearted attempt to politicise a band that don't usually speak on such a platform. Lead singer Richard Archer responded: "People say we must have spent a lot of money on the cover, but we didn't. If Radiohead had done something similar, it would be a work of genius. But because it's Hard-Fi, it's OK to have a pop".
