Hawthorne Heights sack their manager and agent

Hawthorne Heights have fired manager John Germanario and booking agent Jeremy Holgerson, as they continue a legal dispute with Victory Records over moving to Virgin US.

Emo band Hawthorne Heights, who, as previously reported, are in legal dispute with Tony Brummel's Victory Records as they attempt to part company with the independent to take up a contract with EMI's Virgin US division, have announced they have fired both their manager, John Germanario, and their booking agent, Jeremy Holgerson. It is not known if the firings are related to the band's ongoing dispute with Brummel (a dispute which had generally gone Brummel's way in court), but it is thought that their attorney, Dan Friedman, who is overseeing the litigation, may now take on wider responsibility for the band's affairs.
