Hooj Choons returns

The progressive house label Hooj Choons, inactive since 2003, is planning a 2007 comeback and will release remixes via Beatport from its back catalogue.

Talking of great dance music available via digital, the legendary progressive house label Hooj Choons, which ceased operations back in 2003, is planning a comeback in 2007. Pre-empting that, a number of new remixes and previously unreleased versions of the indie's back catalogue will be made available via Beatport over the next six weeks. The first, quite aptly, will be Medway's 'Resurrection', which originally appeared on John Digweed's 1998 'Global Underground Hong Kong' compilation. The new digital release will include an ambient dub mix plus remixes by Chris & Kai and Delikate Imposters.
