IMPALA elect new top guys

IMPALA has split its presidency, with Naïve's Patrick Zelnik as President and Beggars' Martin Mills as Chairman, replacing Michel Lamot.

Pan-European independents trade body, IMPALA, has appointed two people to replace PIAS man Michel Lamot, who is stepping down as the association's President. The top role will be split into two - with Naïve Records boss Patrick Zelnik in the role of President, and Beggars chief Martin Mills taking on the new job of Chairman. The trade body says the rejig recognises the increasing work load facing the association and its top people. Zelnik and Mills will be supported by two new VPs - !K7's Horst Weidenmüller and Epitaph Europe's Hein Van der Ree.
