Inmate admits lying about Notorious BIG murder evidence

Prison inmate Waymond Anderson has reportedly admitted that evidence he gave against former LAPD officers over the Notorious BIG murder was untrue, a claim his alleged lawyer denies.

So, the Notorious BIG saga continues. Now a prison inmate has said that evidence he gave against former LAPD police officers who he claimed had been involved in the murder of the rapper was all untrue.

Waymond Anderson has reportedly admitted to giving false statements against two former LAPD police officers, including David Mack, who he alleged had once admitted to him involvement in Biggie's death, and the cover up of who was responsible. He says he made the claims against the former cops because he was promised a cut of the damages being pursued by the family of Biggie, real name Christopher Wallace, off the city of LA over allegations the city's police force deliberately bungled their investigations into the murder to protect their own people. According to the LA Times Anderson now says: "It was a lie, and I'm ashamed of it".

But the lawyer that Anderson claims set up the money for testimony deal denies any such deal took place. He responded to the latest turn of events by telling the LA Times that it is Anderson's latest claims that are "100 percent, demonstrably false. This is wholesale, made-up-out-of-whole-cloth perjury".
