US investigators reckon they have found evidence of an assassination plot against poor old 50 Cent. That fact emerged yesterday in court papers that revealed that authorities allegedly uncovered plans by drug lord Kevin 'Supreme' McGriff and employees at the lovely Murder Inc label to have Fiddy 'seen to' as part of a long running feud. McGriff has apparently had it in for the rapper ever since he recorded the track 'Ghetto Koran' in 2000 in which Fiddy apparently raps about the drug lord's criminal history.
The papers also suggest that some investigators reckon the Fiddy / McGriff feud was behind the as yet unsolved murder of Jam Master Jay - with allegations Jay became a target because he worked with Fiddy. An official wrote in the released papers: "Agents are still trying to determine whether Jam Master Jay's homicide has any connection to the ongoing dispute between McGriff and 50 Cent. Law enforcement agents are investigating the possibility that he was murdered for defying the blacklisting of 50 Cent."
