So, it should be all forensics when the Phil Spector trial resumes after the long weekend later today. After all those attempts by the prosecution to demonstrate that Spector has a tendency to go a bit weird (in the gun toting sense of the word) when alone with women late at night, and the testimonies of the people who saw Spector just before and immediately after actress Lana Clarkson was shot dead at the legendary producer's Beverly Hills home, now the prosecution lawyers are expected to turn to their attention to the crime scene and the gunshot residue and blood spatters left by the shooting, which all sounds a bit grim if you ask me. Of course the defence in the case have already said that they are confident that when it comes to forensics, things will go in their favour - ie, show that Spector cannot have been holding the gun that killed Clarkson - so it will be interesting to see just how many forensics experts the prosecution can present willing to conclude otherwise.
