US hip hop star Jadakiss was arrested over the weekend and charged with criminal possession of a weapon after being stopped by police in the early hours of Saturday morning. The rapper, real name Jason Phillips, was one of four people inside a car which was found to contain a loaded handgun. All four occupants were charged.
It's not the first time Phillips has been in trouble over weapons possession. Back in July of 2004, the rapper was arrested in North Carolina after a search of his vehicle revealed a supply of Marijuana and two loaded .45s. He reached a plea agreement on the subsequent charges, and paid a fine of $900.
