James Blunt's hit ballad 'You're Beautiful' has been voted the most irritating song of all time in a new survey by Onepoll.com. The singer is joined in the top ten by the likes of Crazy Frog, Mr Blobby and The Tweets, but should take heart from the fact that one of the greatest pop songs of recent years is also in there - Hanson's 'Mmm Bop' - as is Lulu's 'Shout', which is a classic.
Onepoll's John Sewell says the result is slightly surprising, which is surprising in itself - I would have expected it, myself. He thinks this: "James Blunt isn't the obvious choice, but any song that is at number one for so long does start to get annoying."
Here's the top ten, FYI:
James Blunt - You're Beautiful
Crazy Frog - Axel F
Hanson - Mmm Bop
Mr Blobby - Mr Blobby
The Tweets - Birdie Song
Lulu - Shout
Black Lace - Agadoo
Mika - Grace Kelly
Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On
