James Morrison, Seal and Bryan Ferry booked for Tower of London gigs

James Morrison, Seal and Bryan Ferry are among acts booked for the third annual Tower of London gigs programme, running 28 June to 14 July, with tickets on sale now.

James Morrison, Seal and Bryan Ferry have all been booked to play this year's programme of gigs at the Tower Of London. Alas not the Towers Of London. Which is a crying shame. Though I suppose that might start a dangerous precedent. You'd have punk bands calling themselves Buckingham Palace or 10 Downing Street or MI5 HQ and that's asking for trouble. Though arguably they'd need to be called Buckinghams Palace for the precedent to be binding.

Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh yes, the third annual Tower Of London gigs programme, which will take place from 28 Jun to 14 Jul. Also on the bill are Bryn Terfel, Katherine Jenkins, Elvis Costello, Dave Stewart, Joe Cocker and the Gipsy Kings. The programme will kick off with a fashion show in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the Everyman male cancer charity.

Tickets go on sale today.
