Janet Jackson says label has stopped promoting album

Janet Jackson says Island Def Jam have stopped promoting her album 'Discipline' and will release no more singles, after a disagreement over 'Feedback'.

According to reports, Island Def Jam have stopped promoting Janet Jackson's recent album 'Discipline', and plan to release no more singles from the LP. There's been only one hit from the album – 'Feedback' – a far cry from her eighties glory days, when 'Rhythm Nation 1812' spawned seven top five hits in the US charts.

Jackson has apparently been in touch with celebrity blogger/shameless self promoter Perez Hilton, who quotes the singer as saying: "We started off with 'Feedback' and the label and myself haven't quite seen eye to eye since [that] so they've kind of basically stopped all promotion. I'm trying to figure out a way to say this, but just to say it and to be quite honest, they just stopped all promotion whatsoever on the album, so I don't think you're going to hear another single off this album."
