Jazz Aid in the pipeline

Jazz venue The Sands is organising a jazz charity single, Jazz Aid, for Cancer Research UK, with Dennis Rollins on board and other artists being approached.

While the pop world gets together for Band Aid, the jazz community is being sounded out about Jazz Aid, a charity single being organised by a jazz venue in Lincolnshire called The Sands. Dennis Rollins, a celebrated member of the British and international jazz scene, is already on board and Cleo Laine, Courtney Pine, Claire Martin, Acker Bilk and Ian Shaw are among those being approached to take part in the charity project, which will raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
