Creative Production Manager // Snapper Music (London)

Job Title: Creative Production Manager
Department: Production & Design
Salary: Competitive
Full or Part-time position available for immediate start

About Us

Snapper Music Ltd — home to the renowned labels Kscope, Madfish, and Peaceville Records — is seeking a highly skilled Creative Production Manager with a strong graphic design background. This office-based role in NW1, available on a full-time or part-time basis, will lead in-house creative development and oversee the production and quality control of physical and digital assets across all three imprints.

About You

You are an experienced designer with a passion for music and a deep understanding of physical and digital music formats. You're equally comfortable conceptualising eye-catching album artwork as you are managing timelines, budgets, and production workflows. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional attention to detail, especially when it comes to quality control and creative consistency.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a design role within the music industry
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
    essential)
  • Strong understanding of physical music formats, print production, and vinyl
    manufacturing
  • Excellent project management and multitasking skills, with the ability to juggle
    multiple deadlines independently
  • In-depth knowledge of audio formats (digital and physical), including quality control of WAVs, test pressings, Blu-rays, etc.
  • Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners

Your Role

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and production quality of releases across our catalogue and frontline projects. From concept through to manufacture, you will oversee every step of the creative and production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop both solely and in conjunction with external designers high-quality physical and digital assets for album releases, including artwork, packaging, logos, social media content, tour materials, and more. These include our range of award-winning large scale multi-disc box sets.
  • Oversee production QC for all print and audio formats; resolve any issues related to specifications, format integrity, or delivery
  • Manage high-profile creative projects — working closely with artists, label managers, mastering engineers, and printers
  • Develop and refine mock-ups, proofs, and product prototypes; ensure alignment with artistic vision and production feasibility
  • Liaise with commercial and finance teams to source manufacturing quotes, negotiate pricing, and keep packaging costs within budget
  • Coordinate timely delivery of assets and approvals from artists, management,
mastering houses, and manufacturers working closely with the marketing dept.
  • Work alongside the production coordinator responsible for procuring physical
products and overseeing the work of external designers
  • Stay informed on new materials, packaging innovations, and design trends relevant to the physical music market

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in creative production/design for the music industry (3+ years)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Strong knowledge of print processes, packaging finishes, materials, and vinyl
    production
  • Understanding of digital mastering formats and audio QC standards
  • Experience working with a range of IT systems and collaborative platforms
  • Proactive, highly organised, and solutions-driven, with a passion for music and design innovation
  • Strong team player who enjoys collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
