We are looking for a talented, motivated and dynamic Social Media whizz to join our fast-growing exhibitions, family entertainment and comedy promoter business. We work with some of the largest global exhibition producers and will be launching several high-profile events in UK and Europe over the next five years. You will play an integral part in setting up, running and maintain a proactive and cutting edge social media campaign for every event. The role requires creative thinking, asset build for multiple platforms, campaign set up, implementation and analytics tracking and reporting. We are looking for someone who has experience and is a passionate team player, able to work collaboratively but to maintain a clear focus on task execution.

The Role:

  • Developing, planning, implementing and monitoring event social media strategy.
  • Improve performance and ROI across all social platforms.
  • Execute successful social media and influencer campaigns that reflect the needs of the business.
  • Understand paid advertising models and execution.
  • Creative asset design, statics, video and multi-format applications.
  • Pro-active with a never say no attitude.
  • London based.  

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Cross platform social media strategy including paid and organic to realise event and project objectives.
  • Responsible for ongoing community management whilst maintaining and growing brand awareness and social media presence across a range of social media platforms.
  • Develop strategies to further project development in the digital space, supporting events, sponsorships and partnerships to amplify impact and ROI.
  • Maintaining the appearance, positioning and functionality of event social media.
  • Participate in weekly planning and insight meetings to improve engagement levels across all activities.
  • Communicate and connect with other professionals and influencers via social media to create and expand a strong network.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Conduct research to identify audience needs, desires and satisfaction.
  • Working to plans, creating and delivering highly engaging, information organic content across all social media platforms.
  • Co-ordinate paid activity with external agencies.
  • Measure success and report on most important social media campaigns.
  • Use Google analytics, Meta and other data sources.
  • Experience of building and delivering high level campaigns under timeline pressure.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media marketing principles and event management.
  • Excellent knowledge in formulating, executing and optimising paid media campaigns for conversion.
