ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join the team as Senior Distribution Manager. This role will oversee the poster distribution process in NW10, being pivotal to ensuring that our creative campaigns are delivered efficiently and in good time.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable moving from desk-based planning and coordination to rolling up their sleeves and supporting the team on the warehouse floor.
You’ll need to be a strong communicator who can work collaboratively with our wider operations teams, with proven management skills to effectively lead and support others.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Oversee the weekly nationwide distribution of poster campaigns, ensuring smooth workflows and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Allocate campaigns across our cities on a weekly basis.
- Liaise with Head of Distribution to ensure all sites are filled and streets remain vibrant.
- Collate and manage weekly job lists and special instructions, ensuring they are issued clearly and actioned correctly.
- Lead regular distribution meetings, identifying pinch points and resolving issues to keep campaigns on track.
- Lead, motivate, and support the distribution operations teams, monitoring progress and performance.
- Manage the team on the ground, delegating daily tasks, training staff, and ensuring company standards are consistently met.
- Assist warehouse team on tasks during peak periods or staff absences.
- Liaise with warehouse manager to order and manage supplies to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Keep work stations clean, tidy and well organised. Ensuring full health & safety compliance for your team.
- Create, implement, and maintain systems for organising posters and materials.
- Oversee the delivery, collation, wet rolling, storage, and despatch of posters.
- Communicate with the print team to ensure posters and artwork are received on time.
- Meet regularly with the Head of Distribution to analyse performance and implement productivity improvements.
- Take ownership of operational challenges, escalating where appropriate and resolving issues calmly and effectively.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in operations, distribution, project management or logistics.
- Interest in Out-of-Home (OOH) and print.
- Strong people-management skills.
- Proven ability to motivate, lead, and support a team.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident communicator, able to work cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
