The O2 is looking for a Production Supervisor to assist with delivering the live event production operation in the arena, special event spaces, ensuring safe and operationally efficient events.
You'll
- work closely with and supervise the labour provider for The O2
- understand the workings of all the equipment in particular staging, seating and rigging.
- manage our contractors on the ground to ensure they're delivering against the brief;
- assist the department with planning on crewing levels for events
- act as the Duty Manager for the Production team on events as rostered; and
- deliver the department event plans, compliant to venue H&S procedures and current guidance and legislation.
We're looking for someone with experience of working with rigging and staging either from a venue, theatre or from a music festival background.
If you have an IOSH or NEBOSH H&S qualification and a Forklift license that would be an advantage but don't worry if you don't as we will provide the relevant training.
You'll be a great team player who enjoys getting stuck in and helping out wherever needed and be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external colleagues.
You'll want to raise the bar in this role and be solutions focussed; we encourage new ideas and innovation and value everyone's opinion.
