SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING ASSISTANT - WIENERWORLD
WORKING ON A FREELANCE BASIS

We are looking for a Social Media and Marketing Assistant who will be responsible for increasing our artist, press, PR and social media presence, implementing and running digital and traditional marketing campaigns, as well as assisting in various administrative office duties. The successful candidate will also maintain and grow our media contacts database, create press releases for trade and retail customers and manage and maintain the website.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Grow social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube) and run marketing campaigns to increase business, produce trailers and strong visual content
- Pitch titles for review in music publications, building and developing editorial contacts and conduct meaningful A&R research
- Manage and maintain the website; use multiple backend systems (CMS)
- Create press releases and marketing material for trade and retail customers
- Submit metadata of new titles to physical distributors and digital aggregators
- Generate and collate reviews/press clippings and follow up reviewers as necessary
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years working in digital marketing or advertising, preferably within the music industry
- Previous experience in executing social media campaigns
- Enthusiasm and passion for a variety of different genres of music, film and the arts
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work without supervision and on own initiative
- Excellent time management skills, communication and customer service skills
- Good technical skills, including proficiency with Mailchimp (or similar) and Microsoft Office programmes
- Strong prioritisation and organisation skills – ability to multitask
- Having a “can do” positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Insatiable curiosity
- A team player willing to pitch in and do whatever is required
We are a small but dynamic team with offices in North-West London, based close to Queensbury Station on the Jubilee Line. This is a part-time office/WFH role. Hours are flexible depending on workload. Immediate start.
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
