Jon Bon Jovi on bandmate's rehab

Jon Bon Jovi has spoken about guitarist Richie Sambora, who entered rehab, describing him as a work in progress after a difficult period.

Jon Bon Jovi has been talking about bandmate Richie Sambora following the announcement earlier this month that the guitarist was going into rehab. The frontman has told the Mail: "Richie's OK, but he's a work-in-progress, you know. We've been in the band together for so long and gone through a whole range of experiences, but to be honest, we'd had no real strife until recently". Reports suggest that Sambora has been increasingly depressed of late following the death of his father and his split recently from Denise Richards. Things apparently came to a head regarding his role in the band during a shambolic performance on a TV show, leading to his decision to go into rehab.
