Joss Stone champions James Morrison

Joss Stone has praised British singer James Morrison in the US, saying he means what he sings and that Americans love that quality in soul music.

Echoing the spirit of Elton John, who seems to have a new protege/artist he just needs to let us all know about every week, Joss Stone has been singing the praises of British crooner James Morrison in the US. The newly Americanised singer (seriously, has anyone else noticed the huge change in her accent?) asserted: "When you listen to that voice you know he means it. That's all you need to make soul music. It doesn't matter what style you're singing as long as you believe in what you're saying. Americans love that".
