Joss Stone lands role in Goal

According to The Mirror, Joss Stone will make her big screen debut in the sequel Goal 2, playing a vamp who tries to steal Kuno Becker's character from his girlfriend.

Speaking of Stones, and we were, actually, young Joss Stone is to make her big screen debut in 'Goal 2', according to The Mirror. In the film, the second of a planned trilogy, Stone is to play a vamp who tries to steal the main character, played by Kuno Becker, away from his girlfriend, played by Anna Friel. David Beckham, (it's related, his wife used to be a pop star) who had a few lines in the first film, will take a bigger role in the second when the main character moves to Madrid.

Anyway, back to Ms Stone, a friend of the singer said: "She was surprised when the producers asked her to come in for a screen test - but she had a really good time doing it and gave it her best shot. She's really chuffed they've decided to go for her, even though she's not a trained actress. The role is kind of different to the way most people see her, as she's going to have to play a bit of a bitch - that's what she's looking forward to the most!"
