Peter Kay and Matt Lucas are to collaborate on a fundraiser single for Comic Relief. The two comedians are recording a version of The Proclaimers' 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)'. The song's writers, Craig and Charlie Reid, will provide backing vocals. No doubt the charity hope to repeat the success last year of the release of Tony Christie's 'Amarillo'.
Someone from Comic Relief said: "The Comic Relief single is hugely important to us, it is a great fundraiser."
