Kid Rock wins Detroit altercation case

A US court has dismissed Kelly Ann Kozlowski's $25,000 lawsuit against Kid Rock over an alleged assault outside his Detroit studio, after a 90-minute hearing.

One of Kid Rock's outstanding legal disputes was resolved in his favour last week. One Kelly Ann Kozlowski had accused the rocker of roughing her up outside his recording studio in Detroit, and was suing for $25,000 in damages. A US court considered the case for 90 minutes on Friday before dismissing it. A criminal case relating to the allegations had already been concluded without any charges being made. Rock's attorney William Horton said his client welcomed the ruling. Kozlowski's legal rep said she planned to appeal.
