This is very much a rumour, but apparently the reason KT Tunstall pulled out of that gig last Tuesday in Liverpool was because she was asked to be a last minute replacement on 'Later with Jools Holland' after Ray Davies pulled out at the last minute. As previously reported, the singer announced the cancellation of her Liverpool date due to 'unforeseen circumstances', and it seems the unforeseen circumstances were the Tuesday recording of 'Later'. Which wouldn't go down too well with the fans if they heard about it. Well, the fans in Liverpool, presumably.
