Lauren Laverne gets show on 6 Music

Former Xfm presenter Lauren Laverne gets a regular show on BBC 6 Music, as part of a schedule revamp that also moves Marc Riley, Gideon Code and Tom Robinson.

Talking of Xfm, sort of, former Xfm presenter Lauren Laverne is getting a regular show on rival station BBC 6 Music. Laverne's appointment is one of a number of schedule revamps at 6 Music, which will also see Marc Riley getting a daily evening show, Gideon Code moving to late nights and Tom Robinson moving to Friday nights. 6 Music fans everywhere will be thrilled to know George Lamb remains in his morning slot. Lesley Douglas, 6 Music controllers says this: "The new schedule simplifies and strengthens 6 Music's evening programming and continues to keep music firmly at its heart."
