Les Rythmes Digitales boy mixes for Fabric

Jacques Lu Cont, formerly of Les Rythmes Digitales, will mix the ninth FabricLive album, due 7 April, with tracks from Tom Tom Club, Brian Eno and Gus Gus.

Fabric have confirmed the 'not actually that French' Jacques Lu Cont, formerly of Les Rythmes Digitales, will mix the ninth instalment in the FabricLive series due out on 7 Apr. We're told to expect rock, disco, house and electro in an album set to feature tracks from Tom Tom Club, Brian Eno, Gus Gus and Lu Cont's own Zoot Woman outfit, amongst others. Lu Cont told reporters: "I don't think DJing is that cool. I don't like the image of the silver boxes and the hooded jacket and crappy sunglasses. It's only worth doing if you are trying to do something different which is what I've tried to achieve in my FabricLive mix."
