Liam Gallagher has again had a go at all those rubbish bands who just aren't as good as he was in his day. It's just a pity that Oasis aren't anywhere near as good now as they were in their day, either, because then they'd be able to save the nation from itself. Or something.
Anyway, Gallagher told US mag Filter: "It's hard for me to champion England when I don't like the bands I'm championing. It's hard for me to go, 'Ah, Bloc Party, it's fucking great!' They're fucking rubbish. The only band that I like is Kasabian. You've got Kings of Leon, you've got The Strokes - I'd much prefer listening to them than fucking Bloc Party and the fucking Kaiser Chiefs. At least they look cool."
