Lil Wayne arrested

Rapper Lil Wayne was arrested on Saturday morning in Idaho after performing at a concert in the State's capital city of Boise. The arrest seems to stem from drugs possession charges from last year, and seemingly followed a request for the hip hopper's detainment from authorities on the other side of the country in Georgia. While local police said they held off arresting the rap star until after his Friday night concert, the arrest meant he missed a second gig due to take place on Saturday night, something which reportedly led to hundreds of fans calling the local jail house to protest. Wayne was not immediately eligible for bail - he will be formally charged on Tuesday.
