Love makes up with Virgin Atlantic

Virgin Atlantic has agreed to fly Courtney Love back to LA after she apologised to chairman Richard Branson at a party, despite her air rage caution.

If you ever get arrested for air rage here’s what to do – make sure you bump into the chairman of the airline at a party and apologise. Virgin Atlantic has agreed to fly Courtney Love back to LA despite being cautioned by police after losing her temper on her way to the UK. The change of heart from the airline, which had called for Love to be properly charged, came after Love met Richard Branson at a party earlier this week.

As reported yesterday Love was performing at a benefit gig at London’s Old Vic theatre, where Branson was among the audience. After a conversation with Love, Branson told reporters: "Virgin Atlantic was built thanks to the rock industry so I like to think we are a bit more understanding than most airlines. Courtney was a little out of order on the flight over and apologised to me. We are looking forward to flying her back to LA. Perhaps Virgin's new slogan should be that 'Rock stars swear by us'.”

Presumably Love, who had said she would go back to flying with BA in the future, is now a loyal customer of Branson’s rock 'n' roll airline.
