Madonna bans Palin from shows

Madonna has banned Sarah Palin from attending her US concerts, telling a New Jersey audience the US vice-presidential candidate is not welcome at her shows.

It's not often I think to myself, 'Yeah, Madonna did something quite cool, there', but banning the rather scary Sarah Palin from attending any of her US concerts seems like a cool thing to do. Of course, I then read what Madonna actually said and stopped thinking she was cool. But, hey, that's the way it rolls round here. And I'm not even sure Sarah Palin wanted to come to one of her shows.

Anyway, at a show in Meadowlands, New Jersey the singer told the audience: "Sarah Palin can't come to my party. Sarah Palin can't come to my show. It's nothing personal. Here's the sound of Sarah Palin's husband's snowmobile when it won't start [makes loud screeching noise]".

FYI, neither Sarah Palin nor Madonna are allowed to come to CMU Social. Or Bono, but that just goes without saying.
