Madonna becomes peace ambassador after meeting Shimon Peres

Madonna met Israeli President Shimon Peres on her Holy Land trip, pledging to use her songs to promote peace.

No word on Brown's opinions on Madonna's latest peace efforts. I'm guessing he won't be too impressed. But yes, Madonna has become involved in Middle Eastern peace talks with Israeli President Shimon Peres whilst on her trip to the Holy Land to celebrate the Jewish New Year. A Presidential spokesperson said: "The pop star pledged to use her songs to promote peace, and the two toasted the Jewish New Year". Ah, all those centuries of war and diplomacy, and it turns out all we needed was some Madonna songs. Sorted.
