Madonna committed to Kabbalah

Madonna says she is committed to Kabbalah and would like George Bush to study it, defending her eight years of study against accusations of being a fad.

Talking of the Bush boy, Madonna reckons that the Prez would be a better leader if he read Kabbalah. She told reporters: "To get George Bush to study Kabbalah. Yes. It would be amazing".

Madonna made the comments while defending her commitment to the mystical offshoot of Judaism. While she admitted some celebs were adopting the faith because it was fashionable, she said that for her it was not a fad. Speaking to CNN she said: "I wouldn't say studying Kabbalah for eight years goes under the category or falls under the category of being a fad or a trend. Now there might be people who are interested in it because they think it's trendy, but I can assure you that studying Kabbalah is actually a very challenging thing to do. It requires a lot of work, a lot of reading, a lot of time, a lot of commitment and a lot of discipline".
