Madonna gives father £500,000 to save vineyard

According to The Sun, Madonna gave her father Tony Ciccone £500,000 to keep his Michigan vineyard afloat, at the request of husband Guy Ritchie.

Madonna has helped out her father by giving him £500,000 to save his wine business.

According to the Sun, Madge gave her dad the dough to prevent the Ciccone Vineyard from closing down following a special request from hubby Guy Ritchie. Director Ritchie is apparently partial to a drop of Tony Ciccone's 2002 Docetto and Pinot Noir wine and asked his wife to help out.

The huge vineyard in Leelanau Peninsula, Michigan, has experienced dips in sales of its's wine recently. A friend told the newspaper: "When she learned the company wasn't doing well she decided to step into the fray. But Tony is a proud man and didn't want to accept her charity, so he made her a major shareholder in the vineyard."
