Now which fool was it that said the new Ibiza festival being developed by the Manumission guys would be built primarily around their Ibiza Rocks programme? Oh, that might have been me. Well, our friends over at Mixmag tell us that Andy Manumission has said that while the festival he plans to stage on the island next June won't be exclusively dance focused, it won't ignore the dance genres either. He told Mixmag: "Any Ibiza festival must represent the best of contemporary dance but it will not be a specifically dance festival. Its remit will be wider than that". So that's that cleared up.
