Maps launch design competition tied to album

Mercury-nominated Maps have launched a competition to design an image inspired by their album, with winning entries to be included in a re-release later this year.

Recent Mercury nominees Maps have announced details of - and I quote the press release - "an exciting and unique competition" to design an image (photo, drawing, anything) inspired by the Maps' album (the cover, lyrics, music, etc). Which doesn't really sound like a "unique" competition to me, except that Maps haven't done this before, which might make it technically "unique". Entrants must submit images to http://www.mapsmusic.com/create and the winners will have their work included in the re-release of Maps' album later this year.
