Mel B's new album reportedly sells only around 600 copies

Mel B's album 'LA State Of Mind' has reportedly sold about 600 copies, failing to chart in the top 75, according to the Sunday Mirror, with HMV's Genarro Castaldo quoted.

The Sunday Mirror says that Mel B's latest album has sold only about 600 copies. The album was released on 27 Jun but did not make it that week into the top 75. This week the album has failed to chart higher than 200. Poor Mel. HMV guy Genarro Castaldo told the newspaper "Because 'LA State Of Mind''s chart position is so low, it doesn't register on any of the available data. It really is a tragically bad chart position. But actually the album's not that bad."

And to be fair to her, probably only about 635 people knew the album had actually been released. Because I didn't know. And let's face it, I have my finger right on the pulse.
