Mel Gibson has taking Britney Spears on holiday in a bid to help her get over her recent, much publicised, problems. The pair, who have homes in the same Malibu neighbourhood, met after Britney's spell in a psychiatric hospital in February.
The singer and her father, Jamie, were apparently seen boarding a plane for Gibson's Costa Rican holiday home (or, at least, an airport near it) last Thursday.
What she probably doesn't want to see on her return is a new sex tape, featuring her, wearing nothing but a pink wig, and ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. The paparazzi photographer, who had a three month relationship with Spears earlier this year, is apparently trying to sell the two hour video to the highest bidder.
A source, who has apparently seen the tape, said: "The video starts with Britney undressing. She was wearing some cheap clothes. The sex wasn't particularly kinky but Britney wears a pink wig throughout. At one point in the tape Adnan asks Britney to remove the pink wig but she refuses, saying 'Take what off? There's nothing left to take off".
